With over 30 years of experience in the wireless and communications industry, Russell is a recognised technology entrepreneur with a passion for engineering excellence, innovation, and strategic vision. Having founded and successfully grown several technology businesses, Energiatek represents the culmination of decades of industry expertise and a commitment to delivering technology that is both powerful and refreshingly simple.
Russell believes that trust is earned through expertise, honesty, and consistently delivering on promises. His philosophy is that the best technology should simplify business, not complicate it. By combining deep engineering knowledge with a customer-first approach, he helps organisations embrace secure, resilient, and future-ready solutions that create lasting business value.
With over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Javier has built his career at the intersection of engineering rigour and commercial vision. His background spans critical, high-density environments such as airports, stadiums and premium office environments for major clients, alongside early involvement in private 5G — joining the space with a startup at its earliest stage, when the technology was still being defined.
Javier led the market entry of a UK-based company into Spain, building the operation from the ground up and delivering multiple successful projects that established the business as a trusted player in the region.
For Javier, it always starts with the customer. His approach is built on listening first — understanding each client’s real needs and constraints — to design the solution that genuinely fits their environment, rather than a one-size-fits-all answer.
Kevin James
Non-Executive Director

Kevin is a senior operations and technology executive with over 30 years’ experience across telecoms, IT services and cyber security. He has held senior leadership and C-suite roles at NG Bailey, Axell Wireless, Cobham Wireless and Orange Cyberdefense UK, leading large technical teams and major business transformations. His commercial track record includes the sale of Axell Wireless to Cobham Plc and SecureData to Orange. As a Non-Executive Director, Kevin brings extensive operational, cyber security and board-level experience to our growing technology businesses.
